Ramblings ...
So the trip to the Jazz game was a good one! Gabe and Alison both did great in the car and Gabe stayed for the entire basketball game. He fell asleep on Steve's lap during the 3rd quarter and woke up with 1 minute left in the 4th. Alison and I stayed in the hotel room because she was done for after dinner. It was great to see all the family, they were very amused by Gabe and just adored Alison. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of the kids with Steve's family but my BIL did, so I'll get some from him. I did snap a few pics when we stopped to visit my aunt and uncle on our way out of town though! There will be some layouts coming soon!
The new Digi Chick looks great ... props to Laura, Robin and Christy for making it all come together! I missed out on pretty much all of the festivities since we were travelling but it looked like it was a lot of fun!
American Idol tonight was pretty entertaining. I think Ayla will be gone, I just thought her performance wasn't all that great tonight. Katharine really did an excellent job though. I can't wait to see what the guys do tomorrow!
Do any of you watch House or Boston Legal? I love House! It's just so entertaining and suspenseful and Dr. House is a total crack up! Boston Legal is great too! I just started watching that one not too long ago and I'm highly amused each time! Gotta love Denny and Alan!
The new Paper Inspired Scraplift Challenge is up at The Digi Shoppe!! We are lifting a great gallery this week so go check it out. Here is the LO I lifted for the challenge. Credits

I've busted out a bunch of layouts in the last couple days and I still don't know if I've got them all posted yet. I'll have to get around to checking on that tomorrow. I'm tired now so I'm gonna get some sleep. I'll update with new LOs and the guys night on American Idol later!

American Idol and other stuff!
American Idol ... well the girls really, well, they just all sucked! Tuesday's show was really boring. I thought Paris' voice sounded wonderful but everyone's songs were boring. Now, the guys ... they rocked. Almost everyone sounded really good. Chris is still my FAVORITE!! Wowsers is he HOT too!! Great voice, got the look, he's got it all! Yes, I even called and voted for him.
I haven't been doing much else but cleaning and shopping. It's been a little busy. I haven't even had time to scrap. I've done 1 page, only 1 and it's Wednesday night already! Hopefully I'll get at least one before I turn in for the night! Steve took over the computer last night to do some work on Illustrator, which I still need to learn to use. So I took advantage of that and went to bed early. First time in like a week :) I'm no Gina, I still need some good sleep at least a couple nights a week.
I've got the cutest little story about Gabe at gymnastics today :). He's got this little girlfriend there named Addie, she kisses him in the ball pit. Before gymnastics started today Gabe and Addie were playing with a felt dinosaur book. Gabe was looking at all the dinosaurs and Addie was holding Gabe's favorite, the Pteradactyl, and I asked him what dinosaur was in Addie's hand. He leaned forward and looked at it and said to her, "That's a Pteradactyl!" and she said, "I LOVE you!" It was so funny! Her dad and I were just giggling away! I need to get some pics of the two together.
I bought Alison the cutest dress from Janie and Jack. Isn't it adorable?! Miss Katy (plucky) introduced and got me hooked on Janie and Jack! They have the most adorable clothes for little girls!! The boys stuff isn't quite mine or Gabe's style but Alison is just going to be a shabby little princess in all the adorable clothes I get her there! I only wish there were an actual store near by but Portland is the closest. I got this dress for her in 12-18 months so she'll be able to wear it next spring. She'll look so sweet toddling around in it!! Oh, I almost can't wait, but then again I can because I don't want to her to grow up and not be my little baby girl. I know, I'm a sap.
We're going to a Utah Jazz basketball game on Friday night. It will be Alison's first trip in the car. I'm not really looking all that forward to it simply because of the travel and inevitably someone always ends up with a cold or some illness after travelling, but most of Steve's family hasn't seen Alison so since they will all be there for the game we've got to go. Well, that's about all here! Y'all have a great week!!

LO for the Digi Chick Blog Sketch Challenge

Here's a LO I did for the Digi Chick Blog Sketch while the site is down for remodel. Everything except the ribbon and button from Kimberly Giarrusso's Serendipity Kit that will be available at The Digi Chick when the site reopens on March 1st! The ribbon and button are from Kim's Napa Valley kit from The Digi Chick. Fonts are Jeana and Century Gothic. PSCS2
Journaling reads:
Your favorite chair in front of your favorite window. You like to sit in the sunshine from the living room window in your little folding chair that grandma got for you. I love it when you sit there because you look so content and peaceful. March 2005

oh yeah ...
don't forget about the finale of Dancing with the Stars ( GO Drew & Cheryl!!!) and Grey's Anatomy tonight! What did yall think about American Idol this week? There's some great singer and some not so great ones too. Chris (bald hottie rocker...yummy) and Taylor are my favorite guys. Ace isn't bad either, he's some good eye candy with a good voice! My favorite girl is Paris! I was happy with the contestants that got voted off but would have been even happier if Brenna were gone too ... hopefully next week ... she totally bugs, thinks she's all that and a bag of potato chips ... whatever, take a hike! Drew & Cheryl kicked some major patooty on DWTS on Thursday!! I loved their freesyle to "Save a Horse"!! I like Stacy & Tony too, but I think Drew's performances really were much better!! Can't wait to find out!
Another week gone ....
and not a single blog entry. I did a lot of scrapping again this week. And, I got my carpets cleaned!!!! I can't tell you how excited I am about that 2 dogs, and a potty training 2 year old make for some messy carpets. I was planning to take Gabe to see Chicken Little while the carpets were drying but it was too close to nap time and he started crying as soon as we walked through the doors and said he wanted to go home and take a nap. He didn't even want to get any popcorn to bring home :( That's the best part about movies ... popcorn with butter! We did take the kids to see Hoodwinked and Curious George in the last 2 weeks. Hoodwinked was pretty funny, more of a grown up movie but Gabe still thought it was great. Curious George just wasn't what I expected it to be, it was really s l o w ... but Gabe liked it and that's what matters.
Steve is playing Dragon Quest 8 and the music on it is so annoying ... oh well, he's entertained. It's one of those games that I don't think you can ever get to the end on, it just keeps going and going ... LOL! I can't play PS2 games ... the 3D stuff makes me sick watching it ... give me Tetris or Super Mario Brothers and I'm set!
The Digi Chick is having their big remodel this week ... can't wait to see what it looks like! Kim has a new kit called Serendipity for the reopening and it is so cute!!!
Did yall get the newsletter from Sweet Shoppe Designs?! If you didn't check it out there is a special little something hiding for you. And did you all see Christy and Robin's new 2 scoops Monkey Doodle Doo kit?! It's so cute! I did a LO with it of Gabe and Pappy playing.

Janel and Misty have some new items in the shoppe at The Digi Shoppe and the challenges this week just rocked!! If you haven't stopped by yet, register, take a look around, post, take some challenges and get some hot freebies!! Here's a sneak peek at the LO I did for the Paper Inspired Scraplift challenge at The Digi Shoppe (of course) that starts tomorrow.

Papers and ribbons by Tracy Ann at SBB, alpha by Misty Mareda at The Digi Shoppe. Atomic Cupcake inked edges, chalked edges, wild tear and painted wood actions. Fonts: Marydale, Century Gothic, Dymo label, PT Script, and I think a couple more but I can't remember them all now. I designed a way cool freebie for this too ... it's huge so I may break it in to 2 parts so you'd have to do 2 challenges to have the full kit. I hope you like it, it's called Sweet Darling
I think that's about it ... here's the LOs I did this week! Thanks for stopping by!!

You think youre pretty hot stuff up there in that tree! Well guess what ... you are!!! Dad stuck you up in the Weeping White Pine tree in the front yard while you two were out playing. You were so excited to be up there and so proud of yourself too. You were also really high up in the tree!! You are turning into
such a big boy so fast. The toddler days will be coming to an end far too soon. The days of
climbing trees and skinned up knees will be here before we know it.

While we were out shopping we found these cool winter hat and gloves and because you grew so much since last winter we bought them for you. You had to wear them all the way through the store and when we got home you told me to take the tags off so you could wear them. As soon as you had them you said, I dinosaur boy, momma! You were so excited! You told me to
take pictures of you so we went outside in 90 degree weather in your winter hat and gloves!
